I love a good cocktail, but can get daunted by long ingredient lists and too many steps to get to my end result. That’s why we often feature 2-ingredient cocktails here on Momtrends. We know you’re busy, you’re tired, and you don’t have time to spend 30 minutes making a cocktail. But this month, I’ve discovered a ridiculously easy way to get a delicious, complex-tasting cocktail in just seconds: Stolen Fruit Mixers.
True, you could just mix your vodka with lemonade or add some gin to your your La Croix can. But with Stolen Fruit Cocktail Mixers you get a grown-up cocktail that comes together fast.
Stolen Fruit Cocktail Mixers come in five yummy flavor combinations:
- Hibiscus Grenache
- Blood Orange Muscat
- Lemongrass Ginger Sauvignon Blanc
- Jasmine Juniper Viognier
- Fig Grains of Paradise Zin
These mixers also allow you to make delicious mocktails by just substituting out the alcohol for sparkling water, making Stolen Fruit Mixers a perfect option for baby showers and still making designated drivers a special drink.
While their website lists lots of recipe options for both cocktails and mocktails, the basic ratio for all the mixers is this:
- For cocktails – 1 part mixer:1 part alcohol
- For mocktails – 1 part mixer: 2 parts sparkling water
How easy is that? So whether you love vodka or gin or need to make it booze-free, you can mix-n-match to create your ideal drink.
Lemongrass Ginger Drop
- 1.5 oz Lemongrass Ginger Sauvignon Blanc mixer
- 1.5 oz vodka
- 0.5 oz lemon juice
Shake all ingredients and strain into a chilled martini glass.
- 1.5 oz Hibiscus Grenache mixer
- 1.5 oz tequila
- 0.5 oz lime juice
Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass, or pour over ice.
I love that the cocktails took just seconds to make but taste like I spent much more time on them than I did. My favorite of the two? The Lemongrass Ginger Drop – refreshingly delicious with not too much sweetness and just enough ginger to give it a kick. And luckily it was just as easy to whip myself up a second one!
Visit Stolen Fruit’s website to order online or if you are in California, find a retail location near you.
